New Columbus Affiliate

Scott Lynch Group is opening a new full-service real estate office in the heart of downtown Columbus on Washington Street. Affiliated with F.C. Tucker Company, the new agency -- F.C. Tucker/Scott Lynch Group – will be operated by Principal Broker Scott Lynch, a 22 year real estate veteran.

Though Lynch is new to the Columbus-area market, he is a veteran real estate professional. For more than 20 years, Lynch has owned and successfully operated Scott Lynch Realty, Inc. in Madison – the number one real estate firm in southeastern Indiana. Lynch plans to affiliate his Madison office with F.C. Tucker Company next year.

Lynch is a licensed real estate broker in both Indiana and Kentucky and has expertise in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. He is a member of the Indiana Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Lynch also has served on several boards and committees including the Jefferson County Historical Society, the Zoning Board for Jefferson County and the Ivy Tech Board of Directors.

Cross-Generation Marketing

The avenues for marketing we have available to us seems to grow everyday. The digital age brings change at a rapid pace, tough to keep up. And the same techniques don't work on everyone, generational differences can make it more of a challenge. Older buyers are still happy to see postcards in the mail. Gen Y buyers throw mail in the trash. If it isn't on a screen, not worth looking at. If you're marketing to someone of your own generation, you get it. But it takes a little thought and savvy to market cross generation. Understanding Social Media and how to use it the RIGHT way may not matter if your buyers are older, but to tap into the new group of home buyers, better have your digital game on. And if you're a new realtor getting started and have older prospects, understand the power of print.
