Tucker University- Toastmasters

Q. How does Toastmasters relate to real estate?

A. Our meetings will be real estate concentrated and will be a closed

club for F.C. Tucker agents, other than your Toastmasters Mentor.

Q: How can I benefit from Toastmasters as I thought Toastmasters was to learn how to give speeches, I am not in interested in that role?

A. Your role will give you experience in perspective, gaining and keeping control of a situation. (Boy do we need that with many of our clients!)

Q. Why does Toastmasters run for a year or more?

A. Each meeting is 1 1/2 hours – weekly, with NO requirement to attend every meeting. The more you attend the more you gain and the better communicator you will become.

Q. I just want to build my self confidence, will this help me?

A. Meetings are designed to be a confidence builder, first and foremost, accomplished by impromptu speaking with immediate feed back!

Q. I want to speak with authority on and off the phone too.

A. You will learn to speak with authority, and most importantly LISTEN with apathy and you will also learn better phone skills.

Q. I don’t want to waste my time how will the meetings be run?

A. Each meeting will be run as a business meeting: agenda, roles clearly outlined and conducted to Robert’s Rules of Order standards without getting too stogy.

Q. Can I come for the first meeting to see if this is what I want to do?

A. You are encouraged to come and get a group from your office to attend with you. How much fun would that be? At the first meeting we will discuss what to expect and what the over all costs will be. Toastmasters will be one of the most inexpensive costs you will incur to build your self confidence.
